How does your child's diet impact their skin?

It is widely known that a good diet boosts a child’s physical and mental growth, but did you know it also vital for the health of their skin? 🥕 Considering the skin is the last organ of the body to receive nutrients, it is no surprise that many children struggle with their skin. Children need to consume ‘good’ fats, and key vitamins and minerals so that their skin can be strong and heathy. Where it can get tricky is figuring out how to get nutritious foods into their little tummies. One could say that it becomes just as much a game about quality food selection as it is about psychology. Our favourite tip is to ensure your child eats regular meals with healthy snacks in between. Regular meals make sure they don’t go short on key nutrients. Healthy snacks provide the opportunity to introduce fruits, nuts and other healthy things which they may not be eating at mealtimes. 📸 Photo by Angela Mulligan on Unsplash
