The downside of collagen powders full of sugar!
Share
Some collagen powders on the market today are high in sugar and therefore potentially damage the collagen you already have! π€―
π¬ Sugar causes cross-linking of collagen which is where one section of the fibre becomes attached to another section. This causes your collagen fibres to become tangled and they lose their ability to stretch and contract. This cross-linking is called glycation and it makes our skin more likely to look saggy, crinkled or leathery.
Our Collagen Boost Powder has a subtle taste of real raspberries with a hint of sweetness from monk fruit. We donβt use any artificial sweeteners or refined sugar in our Collagen Powder.
